Events
- In 1980, the Wanning County People's Government ranked Dongshan Ridge into the County conservation area and started to rescue and to protect its heritage.
- In 1981, Dongshan Ridge Park Administration was founded by Wanning County People's Government.
- In 1992, Thailand deputy Sangharaja Ber Ben Jerzy Wurie led his worshipping group came to visit Dongshan Ridge, and presented Buddha statues and Buddha fittings, as well as participated in the opening ceremony.
- In July 1996, Dongshan Ridge established the Wanning Dongshan Ridge Tourism Development Co., Ltd., in charge of the scenic area management.
- In December 1996, Dongshan Ridge cooperated with Southern Industrial International Joint Development Corporation and constructed the Dongshan Ridge cableway.
- In April 2002, Wanning People's Government commissioned the Dongshan Ridge scenic area to Wanning Hongda Trading Co., Ltd. to operate as a whole, and the operation period was 5 years.
- In 2006, the Dongshan Ridge scenic area was approved as national AAA-level.
- In April 2007, Wanning People's Government recovered the Dongshan Ridge operating right in accordance with the agreement.
- In August 2011, Dongshan Ridge Tourism Development Co., Ltd. officially submitted an AAAA-level scenic spots application to Wanning City Tourist Office.
Seven Gorges with Nested Clouds
Start with the initial 200 stone steps ascending level by level, a canyon winding elegantly. Craggy rocks, deep holes, natural spring, water trickling, rosy cliff, abnormal holes, jungles, fantastic flowers, form a singular view of picture. "Several bundles of grass cover the valley exit; a clear spring falls down from the hill wood". It is said that Ganoderma grass grows in the valley. Ancient God often pick up Ganoderma lucidum on the cliff.
